About Kavita Vaghjiani Manocha – Art & Craft in Vadodara
My office is at 208 in the Shri Dwarkesh building. It’s right behind Laxmi Hall in Alkapuri. This is a very central part of the city. Sampatrao Colony is close by, and the Circuit House is just across the street. The main landmark is Dharmveer Sambhaji Chowk. It’s a professional building, but my space is quite plain and functional. I don't have a flashy office. I spend most of my day sitting with people and talking through their concerns. It’s a quiet atmosphere. Alkapuri is usually loud and busy outside, but the walls here are thick enough that you don’t hear too much of the traffic. I’ve been practicing here for several years now. Most people find me through word of mouth or because they were already in the building for something else. I keep my records on a simple desk and try to stay organized. It’s a one-person operation for the most part. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, but the stairs aren’t too bad. I like the location because it’s easy for people to reach from different parts of Vadodara. I don’t use any marketing tricks. I just provide my services and try to be as helpful as I can. It’s a straightforward way to work. I’m usually here from mid-morning until the evening, depending on who needs to see me.
