Ganesh Bhavan in Alkapuri is where you will find our office. Alkapuri is a very busy part of the city, so there is always some kind of noise or movement going on right outside. The building itself is an older one. It has that solid, heavy feel to it that you do not get with new places. We occupy a space inside that we have made our own over the years. It is not the biggest office you have ever seen, but it fits our small group. We spend most of our time staring at our computer screens. The lighting is okay, and we have a few windows that look out onto the street. You can see the traffic moving and people walking by to the nearby shops all day long. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate of the building, but it is not too bad once you know the way. We usually bring our own lunches from home or grab something quick from a stall nearby. Alkapuri has plenty of options if you are hungry. We do not really have a reception desk or anyone to greet you. You just walk in and we are there working at our desks. The chairs are not the most comfortable in the world, but we are used to them now. It is just a practical setup for the kind of work we do here. We have thought about moving to a newer building once or twice, but this place has character.
