K K Mahaveer Mobile

If you walk down Amodar Rangawswamy Temple Street, you will find K K Mahaveer Mobile. It is a small storefront right in the middle of a very busy residential area. Being so close to the temple means we hear a lot of bells and chanting throughout the day. The shop itself is packed with mobile accessories. We have cases hanging from every available hook on the walls. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside, especially if someone is trying on a new phone case or waiting for a quick repair. I spend most of my time leaning over a small desk with a magnifying glass. People bring in phones with all sorts of issues, mostly cracked screens or charging ports that stopped working because of too much lint. We keep a stock of different chargers and earphones too. The floor is made of old stone and it shows its age, but it is easy to sweep. We do not use any fancy computer systems for our sales; it is mostly just pen and paper. Sometimes the street gets so busy with pedestrians that it is hard to even get through the door. It is a local spot for local people. We know the regulars who come in just to chat or ask for a quick top-up on their talk time. It is a simple life here, just managing the shop and making sure everyone’s phone stays in working order.
