Jiya Travels

We are based in Shop No 15 at Nilnandan Complex on New Vip Road in Karelibaug. Our shop is right opposite Sadhu Vasvani School, so we see a lot of students and parents passing by every morning and afternoon. It makes the area feel quite lively. At Jiya Travels, we just have a simple room with a couple of chairs for visitors and our workspace. The New Vip Road area is a good part of Vadodara to be in. We’ve been here long enough that we know many of the neighbors. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a computer that’s seen better days and stacks of paper everywhere. Sometimes the noise from the school across the street is a bit loud, especially when the bell rings, but it’s part of the daily routine. We mostly spend our day talking to people about their travel plans and trying to find the right options for them. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like the people who come in. We usually have a pot of tea going or someone brings in snacks from the local shops. It’s a humble place, just a small business trying to do its thing in Karelibaug. We don't put on any acts; what you see is what you get when you walk into our shop.
