Our office is tucked away in D-5 Shirali Society in the Fatehgunj area of Vadodara. It is a bit different from the big airport offices people usually think of. We are right in a residential society, so we see neighbors walking their dogs or kids playing while we are working on flight details. It makes for a pretty relaxed atmosphere most of the time. We handle the local side of things for Jet Airways, which mostly means a lot of computer work and phone calls. The space is small and we have to be careful not to make too much noise since we have neighbors living right next door. We have been here in Vadodara for quite a while now. Most people who live in Fatehgunj know where we are if they need to ask about a booking. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. Just a small door and our desks inside. It is a very practical setup. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait it out, but that is just part of the day. We are just a small team trying to keep things organized. It is honest work and we like being part of the local community instead of being stuck in some glass tower somewhere else. We have been at this desk for years now.
