Jay Mobile

Jay Mobile has been sitting here on Bowring Hospital Road in Makarpura for a good bit of time. It is just a small place, really, tucked in among the other shops near the hospital area. Most of our days are spent looking at cracked screens or trying to figure out why a battery won't hold a charge anymore. People from the neighborhood stop in quite a bit, sometimes just to ask a quick question about their settings or to find a new case that fits right. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic on the road outside, but we try to keep the counters clean. We don't have a huge team, just a couple of us working through the pile of repairs that seems to grow every morning. We’ve seen all kinds of phones come through the door, some so old we have to search for parts and some brand new ones that just had a bit of bad luck. It’s not a corporate place with uniforms or anything, just us in our everyday clothes doing the work. Sometimes it takes a little longer to get a part in than we’d like, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We appreciate the folks who come back to us when they have a problem. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the local scene here in Makarpura. Nothing fancy, just a regular mobile shop doing its thing.
