You can find us in Pratap Gunj, right between the Bata showroom and the ST Depot. It’s a loud part of town because of the buses coming and going all the time, but it works for us. Being near the depot means there’s always someone looking for a way to get somewhere. We’ve been at number 9 for a while now. The office gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the desks. Most days involve a lot of talking—either on the phone or to people walking in off the street. We handle various types of travel bookings, mostly for people who don't want to deal with the big bus crowds. It’s a small team here, and we all do a bit of everything. We don't have any corporate manuals; we just know how the roads work around Vadodara and the surrounding areas. The heat in the summer can be tough in this part of the city, but we keep the fan going and keep working through the bookings. Sometimes a client comes in with a complicated plan and we have to sit down and figure out the best way to make it work. It’s practical work, nothing glamorous about it. We just make sure the cars are clean and the drivers are ready to go when they're supposed to be. It’s a busy life being this close to the depot and dealing with the constant movement.
