Jawads

Jawads has been sitting here on High Tension Road in Subhanpura for quite a while now. If you live in Baroda, you probably know the area because it stays pretty busy with traffic. Our shop isn't a big, flashy place. It’s just a simple building where we get our daily work done. We don't have a team of marketing people or a fancy office. It’s mostly just us and the tools we use. People stop by because they know we are here and they trust the way we do things. Sometimes the road outside gets really loud with all the scooters and cars, but we’re used to it. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front looks, though we probably should fix the sign eventually. It’s more about the actual work for us. We see a lot of the same people every week. It’s nice to have regulars who know our names. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few local folks who live nearby. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes on this road, we just take a break and wait for it to come back. We aren't trying to be the biggest business in India. We just want to keep things running steady and stay part of the community here in Subhanpura. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we enjoy the daily routine of it.
