Jasmin Mobile

Jasmin Mobile is right on R.C. Dutt Road in Sayaji Ganj, Vadodara. It is a very busy street with plenty of students from the university and office workers walking past all day. Our shop is quite small, but we make sure to use every inch of the walls for shelves. We mostly fix phones and sell basic accessories like chargers and tempered glass. I spend a lot of my day hunched over a workbench with a magnifying glass and tiny screws. It is tedious work but I like the challenge of fixing a screen that looks like it was smashed with a hammer. We don't have the bright, shiny displays you see in the big malls. Our shop feels more like a local hangout where people come to ask questions about their devices. Sometimes the tea guy from next door brings us snacks and we chat for a bit. It gets really crowded on Saturday afternoons because everyone wants their repairs finished before the new week starts. We try to be quick but some jobs just take time. There are many other mobile shops on this road, but we have our regulars who trust us. We don't use any fancy language or try to sell people things they do not need. If a phone is too old to fix, we just tell them straight. That's just how we run Jasmin Mobile.
