Jaimin Art Studio

Jaimin Art Studio is tucked away in the Nivadanam Complex on the first floor. We are right on the Main Road as you head down Dabhoi Road, not too far from Sama Talav. It’s a decent sized shop, number Ff-19, where I spend most of my days working on various art projects. It’s not one of those galleries where everything is pristine and you're afraid to touch anything. There’s usually paint on the floor and brushes soaking in jars everywhere. I’ve been doing this for years because I just like making things. People come in when they need something painted or maybe a custom piece for their house. Sometimes it’s students looking for a bit of help or just people curious about what’s being made. The area around Dabhoi Road is always moving, but inside the studio, it’s a bit more focused. I don't have a big staff or a receptionist. If the door is open, I’m probably in the back working. The light in this complex is pretty good for painting, which is why I picked this spot. It gets a bit dusty being near the main road, but you get used to that. I don't do much advertising. Most people find me because they saw something I did for a neighbor or they just walked past on their way to the lake. It’s a simple life, just me and my paints and whatever project is on the easel today. It keeps me busy.
