Jai Shiv Electronics

Jai Shiv Electronics is tucked away on Harni Road, right near the Pandya Hotel. If you know that area, you know it’s always got something going on. We are at number 40638, which is basically a small space filled with wires, old television sets, and various circuit boards that we’re working on. It smells like hot metal and solder most of the time, which is something you get used to after a few weeks. We’ve been here for a good while, and the Pandya Hotel serves as a good landmark for people who are coming from further away. The traffic on Harni Road can be a real headache during rush hour, so we usually see people popping in to escape the heat or the noise for a minute. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us behind the counter fixing things. We don't have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning that works all the time, but we have a couple of plastic chairs if someone needs to sit down while we check their device. We handle all sorts of repairs and sell some basic components too. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on bright lights or big displays because the work speaks for itself and people keep coming back anyway. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside with all the equipment, but it has been home to us for many years.
