Jacobs Engineering

Our office is tucked away at 31 Radha Nagar, right off New Sama Road in Baroda. It is a decent spot to work from and the neighborhood is usually quite active. At Jacobs Engineering, we mostly just focus on getting through the daily pile of work that comes across our desks. There are about ten of us here on a regular day, and things stay pretty simple. We don't have a big reception area or shiny signs, just our desks, some computers, and a lot of filing cabinets for all the drawings we keep track of. Working in Baroda means we deal with the heat quite a bit, so the air conditioning is usually running full blast by noon. Most of us bring our lunch from home and eat together in the small break area we set up in the back. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits every day. We prefer wearing comfortable clothes because we are often moving around or checking on technical details. New Sama Road has grown a lot lately, so there are more shops around now than when we first started out here. Sometimes the traffic gets heavy near the main road, but our little corner in Radha Nagar stays relatively calm. We just keep our heads down and do the engineering work that needs doing without making much of a fuss about it.
