Itc Ltd - Hotels Division

It might seem a bit odd to find a big name like the ITC Hotels Division in a bungalow, but that’s where we are in Vadodara. We’re located at 12, Bansuri Bunglow, right in Pasha Bhai Park on Race Course Road. It’s a nice, leafy part of town, which makes coming to work quite pleasant compared to being in a crowded office tower. The bungalow has been converted into our workspace, so it has a different feel than a standard corporate setting. We have different rooms for different departments, and sometimes you have to walk across the garden to talk to someone in another section. We handle a lot of the administrative tasks and coordination for the hotels from here. It gets busy during the peak tourist seasons when there’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Our desks are usually piled with files and the printers are always humming. There’s a kitchen area where we make our own tea, and we often sit outside for a few minutes during our break to get some fresh air. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on reports or planning. It’s a solid, functional place where we get our work done without a lot of the usual city noise. Most of us have been working here for a while and we’ve gotten used to the layout of the house. It’s a comfortable way to handle the hospitality business.
