Indian Air Force

We're located over here at Omq 105/4 inside the Air Force Station Darjipura in Vadodara. Life on the base is pretty structured, as you can imagine. Gujarat gets really hot during the summer months, so most of us try to get our main work done early in the morning before the sun really starts beating down on the tarmac. It’s a big area and there’s always something going on with the planes or the maintenance crews moving around. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people around here know the station well because it's such a landmark in the Vadodara area. It isn't just about the work though; it’s where we live and eat too. The housing quarters like ours are simple but they do the job. You see the same faces every day at the mess or just walking around the grounds. It's a bit of a quiet life inside the gates compared to the chaos of the main city traffic outside. We just keep things moving, making sure the daily routines are followed without too much fuss. Sometimes the dust gets into everything, but that is just part of being in this part of the country. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just the regular duties that come with being part of the Indian Air Force here. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking things twice, but that's just how it goes for us.
