I U Patel

I’ve been based here at 38 R C Dutt Road for many years. It's a busy street, always something happening outside the window. I am I U Patel, and this is where I do my business. It’s a straightforward setup. I have a small room with some old wooden furniture that’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy. I don't see the point in buying new stuff if the old stuff still works fine. People usually find me through word of mouth. I don't do any advertising or anything like that. Most days start with a cup of tea and a look at the local news before the phone starts ringing. The building is older, so it has high ceilings which helps when it gets hot in the summer. I usually stay until late in the evening because I like the quiet once the traffic dies down. There’s a lot of history on this road. I’ve seen businesses open and close right across the street. I just keep doing what I do. It’s a simple life. Sometimes the printer jams or I lose my favorite pen, but that’s just part of the day. I don’t have a big staff, just me and occasionally a helper if things get backed up. It's a honest way to spend the time. The neighbors are alright and we occasionally grab a bite at the stall downstairs. I'm usually around from nine until six, but sometimes I head out early if the weather is nice.
