Hotel Surya Palace

Hotel Surya Palace is at 7/59 Panna Dhay Marg in Udaipur. We are very close to the New Bridge, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Udaipur is a beautiful place, and our street gets quite a lot of tourists walking through. The hotel is not one of those massive resorts you see in brochures. It is a more modest building with rooms for travelers who just need a decent place to stay. We have been running this place for years. The building has some character to it, with narrow stairs and some older furniture. We try to keep everything clean and ready for guests. The location is good because you can walk to many of the local sights from here. Sometimes the street gets noisy with the sounds of scooters and people talking, but that is just how Udaipur is. Our staff are local people who know the area well. We do not have a big fancy lobby with a fountain. It is just a desk where we check people in and a small area to sit. We serve simple meals if someone is hungry, nothing too complicated. It is a straightforward place for people visiting Rajasthan. We don't try to be something we are not. It is just a local hotel run by local people who have lived here their whole lives. We take care of the rooms and the guests as best as we can.
