Hotel Surya Palace, Vadodara

You can find us at 53/1 Shanti Neevas, which is part of the Goya Gate Society in the Pratap Nagar area of Vadodara. It’s a bit of an older neighborhood, and the building has that lived-in feel to it. We aren't a massive hotel chain with hundreds of rooms; it’s a more modest setup here. The street outside can get quite narrow, especially when there are trucks or too many scooters parked around. We have a simple entrance, and once you step inside, it’s mostly just us doing our daily chores. The rooms are basic, and we spend most of our time keeping them clean and ready. It gets quite warm in Vadodara, so we are often checking the fans and windows. The neighbors in Goya Gate Society are mostly families, so we try to keep things quiet in the evenings. It’s a short distance from the main railway lines, so you can sometimes hear the trains if it’s a quiet night. We don’t have a big restaurant or a pool, just the essentials for someone needing a place to rest. The staff is just a few local people who live nearby. We like being in Pratap Nagar because it feels like the real heart of the city, not some polished tourist zone. It’s honest work, and we just take each day as it comes, making sure the guests have what they need without any extra fuss or ceremony.
