Hotel Sueya Palace

We are located on the 2nd Floor of the Orient Business Center in Sayajigungj, Vadodara. It’s the same building as the Oriental Institute of Hotel Management. Hotel Sueya Palace is a bit of a unique setup because of where we are situated in the city. Being up on the second floor means we are a little bit away from the constant street noise of Vadodara, which can get really loud during the busy times of day. We have people coming in who are often tied to the hotel institute or just looking for a simple place to stay while they are in the Sayajigungj area. It’s a very active part of town with a lot of students and business people walking around the Orient Business Center. Our office and the guest rooms are managed by a small group of us who are just trying to keep things tidy and comfortable for everyone. We don't have a huge staff or a fancy valet service at the door. It’s more of a walk-up kind of place for regular travelers. We spend a lot of our daily time making sure the beds are made and the bathrooms are clean before the next person arrives. It’s basic work but it matters to the people who stay here. We’ve been here for a while now and most of us know the security guards and the other people working in the building. It feels like a little community on the 2nd floor. We just do our work.
