Hotel Express Residency, Baroda

We are located right inside the Navalakhi Palace Compound on Rajmahal Road. It is an old area of Baroda with plenty of history around the corners. Our building is close to Shantadevi Nursing Home, so we see people coming and going from there all day long. Mr. Kamble is the one who keeps things moving here. We aren’t some big corporate chain with shiny floors and fancy uniforms. It is just a simple place to stay when you are in town. The rooms are basic but they do the job. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the cleaning and making sure the fans work. The street outside is usually very busy with rickshaws and cars. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy during the day, but that is just life in this part of the city. We have a small team here, and most of us have lived in Baroda for a long time. We know the local spots for a good meal if you ask us. The palace grounds have a lot of trees which is nice when it gets hot. We don't have a big lobby, just a small desk where we take the bookings. We handle the laundry ourselves and try to keep things neat. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We are just here doing our daily work on Rajmahal Road like everyone else in the neighborhood.
