Hotel Cafe Madras

Our hotel is located in Sayaji Ganj, right across from Jagdis Lodge in Vadodara. The address is 390020 for the pin code. Sayaji Ganj is a very busy part of the city, especially since it is so close to the railway station. We get a lot of travelers who are just getting off a train and need a place to sit or stay for a while. We have been here for a good number of years now. The building isn't brand new, and it has that lived-in feel to it. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique place. We just provide food and rooms to people who are passing through. There is always something going on outside on the street. You hear the rickshaws and the people talking all day long. Inside, we just try to keep things organized for the guests. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen or at the front desk. It is a family-run type of vibe where everyone helps out with whatever needs doing at the time. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do here. It’s just a cafe and a hotel. We make sure the coffee is hot and the rooms are ready for whoever comes. People seem to appreciate that we are easy to find and right in the middle of everything. It’s a lot of hard work but it keeps us busy. We're just a regular part of Sayaji Ganj that's always open.
