Holidays

We are based out of Shive Nagar in Vadodara. It is a small operation here, mostly focused on getting people their travel tickets and figuring out where they want to go for their holidays. We do not have a big storefront on a main road, so most people hear about us from their neighbors or friends in the colony. The office is just a room with some maps on the wall and a couple of old computers that we use for booking flights and trains. It gets a bit cramped when a whole family comes in to plan a summer trip together, but we make it work with some extra stools. We spend a lot of time on the phone with hotels or checking the latest railway schedules because they seem to change so often. Shive Nagar is a decent place to work from, and we like being part of the local community here. We are not a giant travel website, just some local people who know how to navigate the booking systems. Sometimes the printer jams when we are trying to give someone their itinerary, but we always get it sorted out eventually. People come to us because they want to talk to a real person rather than just looking at a screen. We just sit down, look at the dates, and see what fits the budget. (239 words)
