Hermes I Tickets Pvt Ltd is located over at A-15, Mahesana Nagar, which is just off the New Chhani Road in Baroda. Our area, 390002, is a mix of houses and small shops. We spend our time dealing with tickets, mostly. It’s a lot of numbers and dates on a screen. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a couple of computers that are a few years old and some chairs that could probably use a bit of padding. It's not the kind of place you'd see in a magazine. We mostly deal with people who need to get their travel sorted quickly. There's usually a stack of printed papers on the corner of the desk because the printer is a bit temperamental. We’ve lived and worked in Baroda for a long time, so we know how things go around here. When the monsoon hits, the road outside gets a bit muddy, but we still make it in to open up. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make sure the tickets are right and the customers don't have problems at the gate. It's a lot of detail work. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to fix them fast. That's just part of life in a small office. We like the neighborhood and the people we see every day. Things keep moving along at their own pace.
