Hello The Gift Shop

Hello The Gift Shop is at 0.125 Rajaram Chambers on T N Setty Lane in Chickpet. The address also mentions Dandia Bazar, but we are right here in the heart of the busy market area of Bangalore. Chickpet is always crowded and our lane is no different. The shop is quite small, tucked into the ground floor of the chambers. We have to be very careful with how we use the space. We have things hanging from the ceiling and stacked high on the sides. You can find all sorts of gift items, from small keychains to bigger decorative pieces. It gets very loud outside with all the people and carts moving by. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a small rechargeable light to show customers the items. We don't have a fancy air conditioner, just a wall fan that moves the air around. Dealing with the crowds every day is a lot of work. We get our stock from many different places around the market. It is a bit of a maze in here. We don't have a website or any formal business plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in a very busy part of the city. Most people who come in are looking for a bargain and we do our best to help them find something.
