Our branch is at 202, Gajanan Complex on Ramji Mandir Lane. This is in the Raopura area of Baroda, which is a very old and busy part of the city. We are right opposite the Government Press Kothi. If you’ve ever been to Raopura, you know how tight the lanes can be and how much traffic there is. Our office is on the second floor of the complex. The building is a bit older, so the elevator can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Inside, it’s a standard bank setup, but it feels a bit more local because of where it is. We see a lot of the same faces every day. People from the nearby shops come in to handle their daily transactions. It gets very hot in Baroda during the summer, so the air conditioning is always running full blast. We have a small staff room where we take turns having lunch. The desks are always covered in forms and ledgers. It’s a busy environment and there is rarely a quiet moment. We deal with all sorts of people, from students to retirees. The location is very central, which makes it convenient for everyone, even if parking a vehicle nearby is almost impossible. We just try to keep the lines moving and help people with their banking needs as quickly as we can without making too many mistakes or causing delays.
