Harsh Emporium

You can find Harsh Emporium over at Sb 33 in the Avishkar Complex. We are situated near Vidyut Nagar, right on the D.Y. Patil College Road. Since the college is so close, we see a lot of students passing by every day. The area around Sector 29 and Padra Road has changed a lot since we first opened, but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. We sell a variety of clothes and some basic accessories. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things pretty high. I spend a lot of my time folding clothes and putting them back on the shelves after customers look through them. My brother helps me out when things get busy, especially during the festival seasons. The road outside is often under repair, so it gets quite dusty inside. We have to wipe down the glass counters a few times a day to keep things looking decent. It’s not a fancy place like the ones you see in the big malls. We just have simple racks and a small changing room in the back with a curtain. We don't have any loud music playing or big promotional banners outside. It’s just a regular shop where you can find everyday wear. We try to keep things affordable because we know the students don't have much to spend. It’s a lot of work keeping up with everything, but we like being part of this neighborhood.
