Guru Nanak Mobile

We set up Guru Nanak Mobile right on Palace Road in Ravet, right by the Mumbai Pune Express Highway 4. Being so close to such a major road means we see a lot of travelers as well as the local village folks. The shop is small but we try to keep it stocked with the essentials that people need on the go. You’ll find plenty of screen guards, data cables, and basic handsets on our shelves. A lot of our work involves helping people with their mobile recharges or setting up their new SIM cards. It’s a fast-paced environment because people are often in a rush to get back on the highway. The noise of the trucks and cars passing by is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. Ravet has changed a lot since we started, with more buildings coming up around us. We handle a bit of everything, from selling second-hand phones to fixing minor software issues. There are days when the internet is slow and we can’t process recharges quickly, which can be frustrating for the customers. We aren't some high-end boutique; it's a practical shop for practical needs. My brother and I usually take turns behind the counter. We keep our tools in a small drawer and the most popular items within arm's reach. It’s just a humble business trying to keep people connected while they travel through the area.
