Gujarat Flying Club

You can find the Gujarat Flying Club over at Abhay Anand Society on Harni Road. We're in unit A-21. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the office feel pretty relaxed. We aren't out at the runway every second of the day; this is where we handle the organizing and the memberships. Vadodara is a good place for people interested in flying, and we’ve been part of that community for a long time. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some posters on the walls and a lot of logbooks. It’s a place for people who actually care about aviation to gather and talk. We don't have a big corporate staff. It’s usually just a couple of us making sure the paperwork for the club is in order. Harni Road can get busy, but once you step into the society, it’s quiet. We started this club because there wasn't really a place for local pilots and students to connect easily. We keep things simple. There’s no fancy lobby or high-tech displays here. Just desks and people who know their way around a plane. We spend a lot of time answering questions for new members. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of place. We don't try to sound bigger than we are. We're just a local flying club trying to keep the interest in aviation alive in Gujarat. It’s good work, and we enjoy being here every single day for the people who love to fly.
