We've been here at Shop No 23 in Shreeji Villa Complex for a while now. Most people know us because we're just behind the D Mart on Waghodia Road. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their grocery shopping. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with the traffic on the main road, but that’s just how Vadodara is. We open up early and stay until late most days because you never know when someone might need something for a fever or just a band-aid. The shop isn't huge, but we try to keep the shelves stocked with what people actually ask for. Being a local chemist means you get to know the neighbors by their first names. It's not just about selling medicine; it's more about being part of the Waghodia community. We see the same faces every week. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the road a mess, but we keep the door open anyway. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a plain counter and some racks. If we don't have a specific tablet in stock, we usually tell people to wait a day and we’ll get it from the distributor. It's a simple way of working. Most of our day is spent checking prescriptions and making sure the fridge is running for the insulin. It’s a steady job and we like being here in this part of town.
