Goverdhan Gift Shop is down on Vasna Road, specifically at 15 Shivalay Complex. We’re on the ground floor, right across from Raneshwar Mandir on the 2nd stage of the 1st main road. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to people over the phone. The complex is a bit older, and the parking lot has a few deep potholes you have to watch out for. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just shelves and a small desk where I do the accounts. It’s often quiet in the mornings, which gives me time to reorganize the stuff that got messed up the day before. People come in after visiting the temple across the street. We get a lot of families on Sundays. The shop is a bit small, so it feels very full when people bring their kids in. I keep a fan right by my chair because it gets stuffy in the back. Sometimes the door squeaks really loud when it opens, I keep meaning to oil it but I always forget until the next person walks in. We don't have any staff, it’s just me and my wife. She comes in during the evenings so I can go home and eat. We’ve been here since the complex was built. It’s a decent living and we know most of our neighbors. We just try to keep enough variety so people have something to choose from.
