Gokul Thal

Gokul Thal is on the ground floor of the Blanka Complex, right on Old Padra Road in Vadodara. We are pretty easy to find because we’re across from the Raj Laxmi Complex and Raj Laxmi Society in the Chikuwadi area. It’s a busy part of Haripura. Our place isn't some high-end luxury establishment. It's a regular spot where we serve traditional meals. We have been in the 390020 area for a good bit of time now. The dining hall is set up to handle quite a few people at once. We get a lot of families coming in, especially on Sundays. It can get a little noisy when the kids are running around and the plates are clattering, but we don't mind. It feels more like a home that way. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone telling us how to sound professional. We just do the work. The kitchen starts early in the morning to get everything ready. We focus on making sure there’s enough for everyone. The staff has been with us for years and they know how we like things done. It’s just about being consistent and showing up every day. We don't try to be something we’re not. If you want a place that’s practical and serves straightforward food, that’s what we have here. We stay busy with the locals and the commuters on Old Padra Road and that’s plenty for us.
