Global System

Global System is tucked away in B 82 of the Nathiba Nagar Society. If you know Baroda, you know how Harni Road can get during the rush hour, so being inside the society gates is a bit of a relief for us. It’s a quiet neighborhood mostly, with families living all around our office space. Sometimes the kids are playing cricket right outside the door, and we have to be careful when we step out for lunch. The office itself is pretty simple. We didn’t spend much on decorations because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. There’s a small kitchen area where we make coffee, though the kettle is a bit temperamental lately. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time, and the neighbors finally stopped asking us what we do all day. The natural light in the morning is great, but by 3 PM, we have to pull the curtains because the sun hits the monitors directly. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend eight or nine hours a day. We don’t have any fancy signs or flashing lights. If you’re looking for us, you just look for the row of bikes parked near the entrance. It’s just a handful of us here, trying to keep up with the paperwork and the phone calls without losing our minds in the heat. It feels more like a home than a workplace most days.
