Gift Shopee

Gift Shopee is on the ground floor of the 9 Silver Rock building. We are right opposite the Baroda Dairy in Makarpura. It is a busy road with lots of trucks and people going to work. The shop isn't very big, but we have managed to fit a lot of stuff in here. We have everything from birthday decorations to small electronics and household gifts. The lighting is okay, but we use a few extra lamps in the corners where it gets dark. We don't have a fancy display window. Most of our items are just stacked on metal racks. We spend our mornings checking the stock and dusting the shelves. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the shop directly. We have a small counter where we do all the billing and wrapping. We use simple brown paper or some shiny plastic wrap if people want it. Most of our customers are people working in the nearby offices or living in the apartments around here. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing team. It is just us running the place every day. Sometimes the door squeaks when you open it, but we haven't gotten around to oiling it yet. We just focus on keeping the shop open and having things people might need in a hurry. It’s a straightforward business and we try to keep things simple for everyone who visits.
