Our place, Sunvij Drugs Pvt. Ltd., is out in Waghodia at No. 511 in the GIDC area. Being near Baroda means we are part of a pretty big industrial hub, but our actual unit feels more like a local setup. We work with different drug intermediates and powders, so cleanliness is something we have to watch constantly. The lab equipment is always running, and the air has that specific medicinal smell to it. It’s not a quiet job. The workers come in shifts, and there is always someone checking the temperature or the labels. We’ve had this spot for years. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when the big lorries pass through the district. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that; we just have our records and our batches. Sometimes the paperwork for the regulators takes up more time than the actual manufacturing, but it has to be done. We eat our lunch together in the small break area when we get a chance. It’s a lot of routine. You check the ingredients, you run the process, and you pack it up. We try to stay focused because mistakes in this line of work aren't good. It’s a steady life here in Waghodia. We know the other business owners on our street, and we help each other out if someone needs a tool or a spare part.
