Gayatri Communications

If you head down Station Road near the pipeline in Sakinaka, you will find Gayatri Communications. It is a narrow part of the road and there is always something going on outside, usually a lot of noise from the heavy traffic and people rushing to catch their trains. We have been in this spot for several years now. The building is older, but it serves our purpose just fine for what we do. We handle all sorts of communication needs, from SIM cards to basic phone repairs for the locals. It is the kind of place where you can just walk in and ask a simple question without feeling like you are in a corporate office with security. We have a few plastic chairs for people to wait, though they are a bit worn out from use over the seasons. The walls are covered with posters for different mobile plans that change every few months. Sakinaka is a hectic place to work, but we like the energy of Station Road. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to watch the doorstep so the water does not come inside, but we stay open as much as we can. It is just a small local business run by people who live nearby. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people seeing the sign as they walk to the station every day. It is honest work and we have made a lot of friends in the neighborhood over the years.
