Gangotri Party Plot & Marriage Hall

Gangotri Party Plot & Marriage Hall is located in Vadodara, right opposite the Urmi School. We have a big open area which is what people around here call a party plot. It’s mostly used for weddings, especially during the busy season when everyone is looking for a place to put up a tent and have a big celebration. We are on Level 1, and the space is large enough to hold quite a lot of people at once. Being across from the school means it’s a landmark that most locals know. I spend a lot of my time making sure the ground is leveled and the lights are working before an event starts. It’s a lot of outdoor work, so we are always checking the weather. When it’s not wedding season, we spend time fixing the gates or painting the walls. It’s a family-run kind of thing and we don’t really use any big corporate talk. We just tell people how much space we have and what time they need to be finished by at night. The address is 390001, right in the heart of the area. It can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that is part of having an outdoor venue. We just try to keep the place looking decent so that families feel okay about hosting their relatives here. It’s a lot of manual labor, but seeing a wedding come together is usually worth the effort.
