Ganesh Pharma

We are tucked away in the Matra Milan Society on Ankur Road here in Vadodara. It’s a small shop, G 4, so you might miss it if you aren't looking closely. Most of our regulars are the people who live in the society or the nearby blocks. We spend our days stocking the shelves and checking dates on everything we have. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and making sure we have what people usually ask for. Sometimes we don't have a specific item in stock, and we have to tell people to come back the next day after the delivery truck arrives. It’s just the way it goes. We aren't one of those huge chain stores with bright neon lights. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and a small fridge for the stuff that needs to stay cold. The air conditioner acts up sometimes when it gets really hot in the summer, but we deal with it. I’ve been running this place for a while, and I know most of the customers by their first names. We don't do much fancy marketing or anything like that. We just open up the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by with their lists. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just helping the neighbors get what they need for their families. Sometimes we close a bit early if the street is empty.
