Down in Vadodara, on Laxipura Road, you can find our office at A1 34 Aum Bunglows. It’s right near the Shivdarshan Tenaments and across from Anmol Park. If you’re driving through Gorwa, it’s a pretty easy spot to pick out because of those landmarks. We operate as a branch of Engineers India Limited from this bunglow. It’s a two-story structure and we use most of the rooms for different project teams. It can get a bit crowded when we have a big deadline approaching and everyone is trying to print their reports at once. The area is mostly houses, so it’s not too noisy, which helps when you’re trying to concentrate on complex engineering designs. We have a few desks set up in what used to be a living room. The stairs creak a little, and the air conditioning hums in the background to keep the Gujarat heat away. We don’t really do much in the way of decorations or corporate branding. It’s mostly just calendars on the walls and piles of paper. We usually have some snacks tucked away in the drawers for the late afternoons. Everyone who works here is from around the area, so we know the local spots for a quick lunch. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of setup. We just come in, do the technical work required for our projects, and head home when the job is done for the day. It’s a simple routine that works for us.
