Ekta Toys&Gifts

We set up Ekta Toys&Gifts on the ground floor of Shreeji Complex, which is right near the D Mart on Waghodia Road. Being so close to a big store like that means we get people stopping in after they finish their grocery shopping. We have Shop No 02, and it’s filled with all sorts of things like birthday gifts, toys for toddlers, and small items for school kids. The shelves are usually packed quite tight because we try to keep a lot of variety. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific thing immediately, but we usually know where we put it. It’s a family-run kind of place. We don't have a team of marketing experts or a social media manager. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the locals to come by. We see a lot of the same faces from the surrounding apartments. Kids usually drag their parents in here to look at the new arrivals. We try to keep things that don't break too easily since we know how children handle toys. It’s not a corporate chain store, just a local spot where you can find a decent gift for a party without having to drive across town. We enjoy the chat with the neighbors and the busy atmosphere of Waghodia Road. It is an honest, simple way to make a living. We have been here for a while and the neighborhood has grown a lot since we first opened our doors.
