We are located in Amin Park Society which is right off Tandalja Road in Baroda. It is a nice enough area, mostly houses around us and it feels more like a home than a big corporate building. We are in D/41, just near Patakar Colony. Being in a society means it is usually pretty calm, though the neighbors' kids play outside in the afternoons which can get a bit loud. Most of our work at Dodsal revolves around engineering and construction projects, though from this office it is mostly the planning and the paperwork that takes up our time. We have been in this part of Baroda for a good bit now. The guys usually arrive around 9:30 and the first thing is always getting the fans going because the heat here can be something else. We spend a lot of time on the phone with sites across the country, checking on materials or looking at blueprints. It’s not a flashy job, just a lot of technical details and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the corner stall because their ginger tea is better than what we make in the office pantry. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist, you just kind of walk in and find whoever you need to talk to. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do every day.
