Dilipkumar O Parikh

The office is at number 17 in the Vitthal Nagar Society, which is in the Karelibaug area. We are quite close to the Mental Hospital, so that is the landmark I usually tell people to look for when they are trying to find the place. Dilipkumar O Parikh is the name on my business cards and the lease. The society itself is an older one, with lots of families who have lived here for decades. I like the feeling of being in a real neighborhood rather than a cold office park. My room is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to drop by without having to climb any stairs. I keep a few chairs around for when someone stops in to talk about their needs. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and I have a few calendars hanging up to keep track of the dates and appointments. It’s not a place where you’ll find anything high-tech or fancy. I prefer using paper and pen when I can. The morning air in Karelibaug is usually quite fresh, so I keep the windows open until it gets too hot in the afternoon. There is a small garden area nearby where I sometimes sit during my lunch break to get away from the desk for a few minutes. It’s just a regular local business where we take things one day at a time.
