Diamond Video

Diamond Video is right here in Vadodara. I've been working in this city for a long time and I've seen it change so much. Our shop is a place where we handle video stuff, whether it's old tapes or newer things people need help with. The shelves are pretty crowded with all sorts of boxes and cables. It’s not a very big space, and the lighting is a bit dim because of all the equipment stacked up. I usually have a cup of tea around eleven and watch the people going by outside. Vadodara has a lot of energy, but it's nice to have a quiet corner to work in. Sometimes the machines make a lot of noise, especially the older ones when they are rewinding. I keep a small fan on my desk to stay cool because the electronics give off some heat. The floor is made of old stone and it’s easy to clean, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the street. I don't have a big team or anything, just me usually. If someone comes in with an old family video, I spend a lot of time making sure it’s handled right. It’s a slow kind of work, but I don’t mind. The neighborhood is okay, and I know most of the people who live nearby. It’s just a normal part of my day, opening up the shop and seeing what needs to be done.
