Devi Corporation

Our office is tucked away in Wadi No. 14, over in Mangal Park at Society G. It is not a place you would find easily if you were not looking for it. We handle a lot of different things, mostly supplies and parts that other businesses need. It is a bit of a maze of boxes and shelves in here. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and seeing what arrived on the morning truck. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to explain that to our customers. It is just me and a couple of assistants. We do not wear suits or anything like that. We are usually in old clothes because things get dusty. The society is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down when we are moving crates. We have been in this spot for a long time. People come in to pick up orders or just to chat about what they need for their next project. We keep a big kettle for tea because it is a long day. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up on the weekends. It is not a glamorous job, just moving items from one place to another and making sure the numbers match up. We know most of our regular buyers by name. It is a local way of doing business and it works for us here in Mangal Park. We just keep the doors open and do our work.
