Destination Escapes

Our office is at A/101 in the Pashwa Prathana Flat, right on Water Tank Road in Karelibaug. It’s a bit different because we are in a residential-style building rather than a big commercial plaza. It makes things feel a little more relaxed. Destination Escapes is where we handle all the travel planning for people in the neighborhood and around Vadodara. Since we’re near the water tank, most locals know the spot pretty well. The office is basically just a couple of rooms where we keep our computers and all the files for our clients. We spend the day looking into different holiday spots and trying to figure out the best way to get there. It’s not always easy because flights change and prices go up and down all the time. We do a lot of listening. People come in and tell us what they’re looking for, and we try to find something that fits. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of staff, just a small group doing our best to keep things moving. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the desk somewhat organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. Karelibaug is a nice, steady area to work in. It’s quieter than the city center, which we appreciate. We usually lock up once the last email is sent for the day, which can be late.
