Delhi Public School

If you head down Harni Virod Road in Vadodara, you’ll find us right there in the Harni area. The school has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. The address is 390022, and it’s a fairly busy spot because of the traffic moving towards the airport side. I usually start my shift by making sure the gates are open and the security is ready for the morning rush. The grounds are actually quite big, and we have a lot of open space for the kids to run. In the mornings, you can hear the sound of the prayer and the announcements over the speakers. The building itself is quite modern, but it has its quirks, like that one door in the west wing that always sticks in the heat. We have a lot of computers in the labs, and they need constant checking. The staff room is always a bit of a mess with tea cups and half-graded papers, but we know where everything is. It’s a very active place. There’s always someone practicing for a play or a sports match out on the field. We don’t really do anything special, we just keep the place running so the kids can learn their lessons. By the time evening comes, the whole place feels very empty and silent, which is a big change from the daytime chaos. We just lock up and start again the next day.
