Darshana B Patel

My name is Darshana B Patel and my place is at 14 Vadodara Bhikshuk Gruh. We are right on the bus stand corner road which is very close to Riddhi Siddhi Society. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always something happening outside the window. You hear the buses coming and going and people shouting for their stops. It gives the place a kind of energy that I have grown to appreciate over time. I started working here because it was a convenient spot for the community to find me. The building is a bit older and sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb flickers, but it has character. I spend most of my day sitting at my desk handling whatever comes my way. It is not always exciting work but it is what I know. I keep a few plants on the windowsill but I usually forget to water them so they look a bit sad. My neighbors from Riddhi Siddhi Society often walk past and wave. It feels like being part of a real neighborhood here. I don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. I just have my name on the door and that seems to be enough for most people. Some days are quieter than others and I use that time to catch up on filing. It is just a normal everyday business and I am just a normal person trying to keep it all moving.
