Darshan Mobile

Darshan Mobile has been sitting here on Palace Road near Silver Jubilee Park for a while. Being at number 21 means we get a lot of people walking by while they are out shopping or going to the park. The shop is usually full of phone cases and chargers hanging on the walls. We spend a lot of our time explaining the difference between one cable and another to people who just want their phone to charge again. It is a noisy area with all the traffic and the shops around us but we are used to it by now. We do repairs too which usually means sitting at the back with a magnifying glass trying to see what went wrong inside a device. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing. Sometimes people come in really upset because they lost their photos and we have to tell them we will try our best but no promises. We see a lot of different people every day and everyone has a story about how their phone broke. We just listen and do what we can. The shop isn't anything special to look at but it's where we work and we know our way around the inventory. We keep it open late most nights because that's when people realize they need something for the next morning. It's just how the business goes on Palace Road.
