Computek

Computek is tucked away in Zampa Bazar, specifically at 4/4770 in Taiyebi Mohalla. If you are wandering around near the Clock Tower, you are basically right there. This part of town is always crowded and full of life, which is something we’ve grown to love over the years. Our shop is small, and it’s packed with all sorts of computer gear and wires. We didn't start this to become some giant company; we just wanted a place in the bazaar where we could work on electronics. The building is old, like much of the neighborhood, and it has its quirks, like the occasional squeaky floorboard. We spend our mornings opening up and checking what needs to be fixed from the day before. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at small parts, but it’s what we do. Customers come in with all sorts of problems, some easy and some that take all afternoon to figure out. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine for guests. There is just a counter and some chairs. The noise from the Clock Tower area filters in all day, reminding us of the pace of the city. We’ve been in Taiyebi Mohalla for a long time, and most of our customers are people we see every week at the market. It’s a simple operation, run by local hands, and we like it that way. We are glad to be here and just do our bit every day.
