Compucare

Compucare is tucked away in Dwarika Apartment over in Laxmi Colony. If you know where the Haweli is on Productivity Road, we are right there. I started this because I liked taking things apart when I was younger. Now, I spend most of my day looking at screens and circuit boards. It’s a small space, mostly filled with spare parts and old monitors. My assistant and I try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when people bring in so much gear. We deal with all sorts of tech problems. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, other times we are scratching our heads for hours. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re usually talking to the person who’s actually going to fix your machine. It’s a bit messy, with wires everywhere, but we know where everything is. The coffee machine breaks more often than the computers do, which is a bit of a joke between us. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years. Most of our regulars just drop by without calling first. It’s that kind of place. We just want to get your stuff working again so you can get back to whatever you were doing. No jargon, just trying to find the fault. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local community here. We don't have a corporate office, just this one room where we solve problems one by one. Our neighbors usually see us coming and going at all hours.
