Our office is located in the Bombay Shopping Centre, specifically rooms 203 to 210. It’s an older building in the Race Course Circle area of Baroda, right across from the GEB office. Being in a shopping center means there’s always something happening. You have people coming in for all sorts of things, and we are just another door in the hallway. Compucare India Pvt.Ltd. has been here for years. The space is split up into different rooms, which can be a bit confusing if you’re visiting for the first time. We have desks piled with old computer parts, monitors, and various cables. It’s a bit of a maze inside. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars or notes taped up near the phones. We spend our time troubleshooting and helping people with their tech problems. It isn't a glamorous job. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Baroda heat, and the elevators in the building can be a bit temperamental. We usually just take the stairs. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things. We don't bother with fancy presentations or corporate talk. People come to us when their machines stop working, and we do what we can to get them running again. It’s a busy, cluttered, and practical place to spend the day. There is always someone working on a motherboard or answering a call about a broken printer.
