City Systems

Our office is tucked away at S/8 in the Shree Complex on R C Dutt Road here in Vadodara. If you know this part of town, you know the parking can be a real headache, but we’ve managed to stay here for a good while. City Systems is basically where we handle all the technical side of things for local businesses and some homes too. It’s a small space, mostly taken up by workbenches and old monitors we use for testing. We aren't the type of place with a big reception desk or a shiny lobby. Usually, you’ll find one of us hunched over a server or trying to figure out why a network cable isn't doing what it’s supposed to. The complex itself is quite old, and we’ve seen shops come and go over the years, but we’ve stayed put in S/8. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic on R C Dutt Road, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of fans humming. We spend a lot of our time on the phone explaining things to customers or driving out to fix stuff on-site. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we deal with. We keep a kettle in the back for tea, which is pretty much the fuel for this whole operation. Most days go by pretty fast when there are things to fix. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the work done right without any extra fuss.
